Day 1:  Tulip Festival - New York State Capita - The New York State Museum - Saratoga Springs

Trip:

New York,

New York State Legislature,

Tulip Festival,

New York State Museum

Once we leave New York City, we will head to Albany directly. In Albany downtown, we will visit the New York State Capitol which is the capitol building of the U.S. state of New York. Housing the New York State Legislature, it is located in the Empire State Plaza on State Street in Capitol Park. The building, completed in 1899 at a cost of $25 million (worth approximately half a billion current dollars), was the most expensive government building of its time. Then, we will move to Washington Park where The Tulip Festival is held in every spring. Thousands of gorgeous tulips will bloom in May, which is the reason the Tulip Festival is a famous event during Mother’s Day in Albany. Next, we will visit the USS Slater which is a Cannon-class destroyer escort that served in the United States Navy and later in the Hellenic (Greek) Navy. People call it the museum on the Hudson. At last, we will travel to Saratoga Springs. IT is an affluent city in Saratoga County. Believed to have healing powers, springs can be found all over town. Most of the springs are covered by small pavilions and marked by plaques. This amazing spring water even exported to china 100 years ago.

Day 2:

Trip:
Once will depart from our hotel in the morning, we will go to the famous Herkimer Diamond Mines. The treasures mined here are "Herkimer diamonds" -- really faceted quartz crystals with points at both ends, and this is supposedly one of the few places in the world where they can be found. You can rent a crack hammer and safety goggles, try to be a miner and find out the diamond by yourself. After that, we will travel alone the Erie Canal. It is a canal in New York that originally ran about 363 miles (584 km) from Albany, New York, on the Hudson River to Buffalo, New York, at Lake Erie. It was built to create a navigable water route from New York City and the Atlantic Ocean to the Great Lakes. The national significance of the canal system is the most successful and influential human-built waterway.
